Ironic tha Houck's 2 walks are Ohtani and Trout. Just trying to keep the ball in the yard. Not a bad idea, but watch out for Renfroe Got one back with a K on Ohtani in the 3rd on a sinker. -
You may now spit your seeds, Splendid

If I were an opposing scout, just saying, taking notes on Tristan Casas I would go as follows: 1. Always takes first pitch, so pump a center cut at medium speed. 2. Get him to swing and miss chasing a low outside medium FB 3. Put a decent heater on the outer edge of the zone so he will foul it back 4. Work the count to 3-2 , then f*** him with a pitch on the inner edge for called strike 3. He is looking for a walk. No aggression, nor ability to smack heat

Dear Mr. Bloom, you have been a major participant in giving Mr. Cora a roster that currently features a lineup with 5 men sporting a BA in the >100s and also Mr Chang who still is a perfect ZERO. How do you plead ??
-
No, what's pitiful is the 2 out walk followed by 2 hits, with the rbi's coming off Renfroe's bat

I see Moon is in the pen warming up for a " Realistic View of 2024, Part 1" in the near future. Let's play LAA and Twins at Fenway over the next week to see if what we have been seeing is what we are going to see for the next 150 games . Peter Abraham likely summed it up well about this roster being a bunch of spare parts and retreads . Bloom needs to do something decisive to keep himself in his seat and the fans in their seats

Kutter throws an 80mph curve to Brandon Lowe who promptly deposits it in the Bank of Deep RF. Another pitching key find by the Sox
-
Chang on 2nd must be regarded as foreign territory
-
I can't be sure but the analytic guys may want to look at the 2Bman positioning on those 2 ground balls, especially the second
-
Yu Chang's slump buster is a walk
-
Boone is still around, so there's hope for Chaim.
-
That's rare stuff from you.

For all our joking and criticizing as fantasy GM's , Bloom and Cora have the real world problem of dealing with a poor April start ( again) and reshaping a roster that includes Dalbec as a utility infielder, matching up with Yu Chang and Christian Arroyo, so $10MM Kike can patrol CF since the one guy Bloom brought in as a RH bat broke his wrist diving on a short fly. Good luck to 2 guys who need to salvage their careers over the next 5 months.

Thank goodness we are going home to Fenway where we are, let's see 2-4?? Enough with the Rays, hope they win about 120 games
-
Look at the OPS for Rays and it would be hard to get that lineup wrong no matter how you positioned them.
-
Pulling Kluber was understandable but Bleier has no luck at all after the 2 ground balls
-
Then Margot screws them royally with a perfect bases loaded 2 out bunt
-
2 f'ing ground balls and can't be lucky enough to be positioned to pick them up. Always with 2 outs
-
Our range at 2B may be a little short of MLB minimums.
-
So Cora pulls Kluber just before he qualifies for the win . A player's manager, but the move better work , not for Corey's W-L record , but because his selected reliever must get the next guy out or it doesn't help.
-
And when you are scuffling for a break , your bullet shots hit the pitcher and roll directly to 1st base bag Followed by Turner's that DOES drop in on Lowe
-
Casas with a 14 pitch AB, resulting in a walk. Great discipline. On the other hand his timing on several pitches including a center cut FB was not great
-
HP ump goes rogue and calls at least 2 low/outside strikes
-
Turner is coming alive and that would be good news
-
With Springs sprung, let's tear up their BP
