  1. Can't ask for anymore than what Crawford is doing right now. Excellent start through 3. Keep working smart with that short arm odd delivery.
  2. Wong makes a great play for a DP. What a difference good defense makes. It shortens games and lengthens pitchers.
  3. Kike or Arroyo would have achieved exactly the same result, no doubt.
  4. Never let a .180 hitter beat you, except if it is Urias
  5. Kind of picky but Reyes AB needed to score a run. He had 4 pitches up in zone to hit a flyball and didn't. The walk sets up a DP.
  6. Devers makes a brilliant play and throw from his knees to support a good 1st from Crawford. Where is this same guy at other times. I think he wanders mentally , but all who wander are not necessarily lost
  7. Going to be a challenge to repeat last night's run production , but that's why they play the game . No matter how, this would be a great game to win.
  8. Excellent game and some early lightning helped get a win for Bello. Try the same vs Cole tomorrow.
  9. OPS is barely above 1.034, oh wait that's not too bad. But he did miss a lot of games so he might be worse than that over a large sample, lol
  10. Sure sign of a dead lineup, and possibly weak pen.
  11. Devers providing the insurance vs the Grand Slam, Always helpful.
  12. You would hate to see the results from some of them on an IQ, SAT or Wunderlich test.
  13. It looked like a good pitch inside, low corner of zone ( if I saw it right) . Barley cleared the short Rf porch. Not good in a close game , but ok here. BUT, Whitless cannot come back for the 9th
  14. The train ride to NY must have made Casas air sick. Can't hit tonight after a nice run.
  15. That is encouraging as we should pick that game up, finally winning when Jays lose.
  16. So Bello is at 85 pitches, will he come out for the 6th ? I think he should and see if he can get another few outs.
  17. Stanton is a contractual albatross around the Yankees neck for those 4 years. A low .724 OPS and only 45 rbi's to date. Also much injury prone. Casas is a far better asset in all respects.
  18. Bello was much more efficient in 2nd but is on pace for 5 , maybe 5+ innings which has the BP in a total tizzy as to who gets the dreaded call.
  19. No matter the series or season outcome, this is feeling good. Of course, Chaim is texting Cashman about Brito's years of control and availability this off season
  20. Why do i think Devers would enjoy playing in Yankee Stadium.. Maybe it is the memory of the HR off Chapman on a 103mph FB ?
  21. Bello has only 50% strikes with a big lead. Guess he doesn't want Yankees to hit the ball He gets both Judge and Stanton to K, but throws more pitches than Brito in 1st. BP getting nervous already but the shutout remains intact
  22. I don't care which teams we play either but I do care that MLB.com cheats its subscribers with games moved to AppleTv and peacock. We even get AppleTv BUT to see a game there you must subscribe to AppleTv+ for another $6/mo. The extremely large area blackouts . No wonder MLB hires guys like Angel Hernandez, no clue whatsoever.
  23. Yoshi's bomb should have stuck the fork into the Yankees.
  24. Well, a shutout complete game by Bello wins it. The BP's butts can unpucker, lol
  25. There are 6 possible outcomes for the Sox-Yankees series. Most likely is 2-1 Sox but Bello must get the one tonight , trusting one or more hitters show up, a rare event in itself . a 2-1 or 3-0 outcome in Yankees favor would not help the cause.
