    I understand getting Schreiber back in the mix , but was this the best way.... trial by fire for a guy who hasn't pitched in 2 months+ . I know bernardino p[itched Sunday, but I think he may have been a better choice. AC will wind up pulling Schreiber to no benefit to anyone. Wild DP saves his lunch

    Getting 2 AAA level pitchers , young 23/26, should be valuable to the Sox , now, in 2024 or as additional ammo in another subsequent deal. It may make some butts quiver in WooSoxland. Robertson got into some Dodger games this year with not so god results. Hagenman has good numbers at OK City. Just getting anything for Kike is a find. Chaim says to Friedman, "You'll always be my Daddy"

    So no more Kike to kick around ? With Enrique gone home, this team should be with some additional spare salary cap for the actual deadline deals .

    Reyes back on the 26 giving us another infield option , but is he ready to hit ? In a SSS he was hot when he went to the IL . .844 OPS in his last 18 AB's . Walters and the soon to be forgotten Garza sent to Worcester, making room on the BP bench.

    It is good to see them taking the ball out of the yard and posting some runs . Casas is building up his numbers after the slow start. Need some late inning game winners too.

    The problem with Kike being in the lineup is he can't then PH for Duran.. Oh, Duran opens the scoring with a lead off HR

    9 pitch first inning bodes well for Paxton. Can't pitch a perfect game without a 1-2-3 first . Kike at 2B, be alert

    Looking for the Sox to actually get lucky with a decent umpire and a few mental and physical errors by Mets . Note that this is the third consecutive series against a sub.500 team. Results so far are 3-4. Not exactly a dash to the WC cash.

    So what everyone is saying is that what we have is an egg laying chicken , but who comes first? The right answer is the players need to win for themselves , not the fans, the uni, nor to influence the FO. Play to win with best performances. All else including the money will follow.

    Is that the start of a major comeback here? Turner constantly being put on the spot offensively and defensively, but usually comes through. You would not have thought he would be the RS MVP so far.
