Our big bats NEED to wake the heck up. All our runs are coming from the lower part of the lineup. Mookie, JD, Benny, and Bogarts we need you now!

That’s why Devers needs to play the rest of the way. Nunez isn’t that much better of a defender.

Heck the Brewers should of been trying to close out the Dodgers last night. They blew game 2 and really blew last night too. With how many chances they had to score. Their getting beat 5-1 now.

Pearce has actually been pretty good defensively so far, and his bat has been hot. I’d keep him in the lineup over Moreland. We need to get as many runs as possible as quickly as possible. Their going to come out with a lot of energy, because they can’t go down 3-1. We have to match that and take good at bats every at bat. Go Sox!

So far our bullpen has been pretty good. It was maligned before the playoffs, and I can’t say I wasn’t one that wasn’t talking bad about it. It’s only 3 games in this series so we’ll see how it goes from here. Houston is going to come out with a lot of energy tomorrow and we have to be ready to match it. Betts, Benny, and JD need to hit better and then we’ll be clicking. A lot of our runs have come from the bottom half of the lineup crazy enough. JBJ has really won two games for us. I happy for JBJ. Go Sox!

Our big bats are not hitting like you would expect. JD they said was 1-7 in this series before the double today. Benny has been pretty bad too. Mookie at least has been good on the bases. We need them to start really hitting.

Ya he’s terrible with the bat. We just can’t get those big two out RBI’s like Bregman did last inning. We’ve had runners on all dam game.

Every message board I’ve posted on over the years always had a game thread, but I don’t see where the game thread is on this forum. I see all the other topics, but not a game thread. I just started posting on this forum about a month ago. So where exactly is the game thread?

Why is Nunez starting over Devers? I don’t care if it’s a lefty. Devers can hit lefties. Remember his blast of Chapman last year? Chapman is a very hard throwing lefty. Of course Nunez leaves JD on third. Should of been a 3 run first. Oh well happy to see we got early runs. We’ll need as many as we can get!

Me too. Heck Porcello has looked like the best reliever in the late innings, but Cora would never keep him in to close. It’s against all the analytics he goes off of.

That’s bad when you say Price wasn’t that bad, and he gave up 4 runs in not even 4 innings. I guess that’s from now on going to be a good start from him, but we pretty much knew this before the playoffs began.

I don’t like that 3 straight in the opponents stadium. It actually makes home field advantage and disadvantage. If you lose 1 or both games at home you have to go to their stadium for 3. I liked the 2-2-1-1-1.

I absolutely agree with you. Devers should start no matter who’s pitching, because he’s got a better bat than Nunez. As for Price he just can’t pitch in the playoffs period. I was yelling at my tv last night when he came back out for the fourth after giving up 4 runs in 3 innings. 0-11 now in the playoffs. If that doesn’t tell you don’t start him again I don’t know what will. Porcello was dominant out of the bullpen last night again. Maybe we should keep him there? Although he was good in his start against the Skanks and we need someone good to start.

What happened to Drew Pomeranz? I know he was terrible and was put in the bullpen, but he was decent for us last year. Also I’d like to see E-Rod get a start. He can be dominant when he’s on. Evaoldi has got his work cut out for him and I hope he pitches like he did against the Skanks.

I know I was just really irritated with Price coming back out for the 4th inning. He’s made some questionable moves in the ALCS so far. Also why in the world did Leon pinch run for Moreland? Someone faster probably would of scored. Man Kimberl likes to make it way to interesting. Astros just keep coming but we have to get one or two there in Houston!

Now you got a question whether Cora even wants to win by putting Price back out there after already given up for earned through three innings. I know he wants to win but how bad?

Well Cora wanted Price and just like we ALL knew he’d get Price. 4 runs in 3 innings, phenomenal. It’s hard not to get irritated with his decision to pitch Price in a basically must win.

Ya 7-2 wasn’t what I was expecting at all. This is the worst game we’ve played in all facades of the game. Plus we have Price going tomorrow so not looking to good. I’ll keep my comments to a minimum, because we got smacked by the Yanks and came back and took both in NY. Tonight just doesn’t leave a good feeling in your stomach that’s for sure.
