  1. Yes it was! They said Kimbrel was tipping his pitches and they worked on it before game 5 of the Astros series. He looked completely different tonight. Nobody can say it was because we had a lead either. He had a 3-4 run lead in a couple games this playoffs and didn’t pitch well. Hopefully this is the Kimbrel we get the rest of the series!
  2. One down three tough ones left to get. The Dodgers are a good team, but dang did we get some big hits tonight!!!
  3. That’s the Kimbrel were used to seeing!
  4. I was just thinking the exact same thing. Why not just leave Eovaldi in?
  5. I was wondering the same thing with the Yankees suck thing. We are playing the Dodgers but it’s cool so a lot of alcohol!
  6. If we have the lead in the ninth Kimbrel better bring it because you know Cora’s bringing him in.
  7. Cora can be an idiot sometimes. Brasier needs to be taken out. Should of never taken Kelly out.
  8. Why won’t Cora leave a guy that’s pitching good in. Every inning is a new pitcher.
  9. Kinsler sucks need to put in Holt
  10. I thought the time off would help the pitching and not hitting but I was wrong.
  11. We just can’t keep the dam lead
  12. I completely agree with you! We’ve had some stiff competition and taken care of business so far. I don’t like making predictions before a series, but the Dodgers have a really good pitching staff and lineup. That said so do we! I hope the time off doesn’t throw our bats off. It can only help an overused pitching staff. We shall see what happens starting tomorrow. Go Sox!
  13. Mookie played 2nd once this season didn’t he?
  14. A lot of people said Manny didn’t care about playing baseball, but yet he’s over in Japan or somewhere still playing baseball for very little money. So whoever thinks that he didn’t care their wrong. Who in their mid-40s plays for what would be less than the league minimum in the MLB somewhere else just to be playing baseball? Manny Ramirez!
  15. Who are you talking about Manny Ramirez? I never heard of anything about Manny messing around with a 15-year-old girl. I know he had his problems in Boston, but nothing like that, that I’ve ever heard of. He was my favorite player when he was in Boston.
  16. Manny was friggin awesome! He was my favorite Sox of all time by far. I love the way you would hit a homerun and knew he got it. Although a pitcher struck him out he just put his head down and walk to the dugout. When he left for LA I was bummed. Papi was awesome. One of the most clutch years I’ve ever seen. The whole 2013 World Series was Papi going crazy by himself and a couple guys chipping in here and there. Manny was pretty clutch to that’s why Papi got so many good pitches to hit.
  17. That’s going to be a big deal, because JBJ has been huge and he will be the one most likely to say. They’re not sitting JD, Benny or Betts. Too bad Mookie can’t play second base even though he knows how to and has this year if I remember correctly.
  18. We absolutely won this series not the Astros losing it. We got huge two out RBI’s. Our bullpen was actually a little better than theirs and our defense was really good at pivotal moments. Once they got down it did seem like they folded up the tent which surprised me. I think we just apposed our will on them which made them fold up.
  19. Yes they are but the Astros were supposed to be the best team even though we won more games. That said your right it’ll be really tough. Both have great pitching and good hitting.
  20. Ya I was a little surprised at that. They are known for fighting every at bat but it did seem like they were down and out once we got the lead.
  21. We need to take this to the WS. This means little if we don’t win the WS. We’ll be rested and ready to go for game one!
  22. I agree I’m finally happy for him!
  23. Who would of thought with the pitchers pitching tonight, crazy!
  24. It won’t be easy both the Dodgers and Brewers are really good, but so are we!
