Winckowski had one good year. He was bad last year and bad this spring. I don't think he was good at AAA this year either.

I think a pressure play in the ALCS to win the game is more difficult than a catch in a 5-0 game in April.

After first game, Tony Massarotti of 98.5 said Campbell looked scared and not ready for the major leagues. What an idiot! He is wrong 98% of the time.

At 68 years old I didn't think I could be as good as a major league baseball player but I actually think I could do as well right now as Raffy Devers. We each would strike out each time up. -
Its going to be hard for them not to have him on the roster after this spring performance. I know its only ST, but 6 home runs??? 12 RBIs and 3 SB.

Crawford is a below average major league pitcher. He eats some innings and has an occasional good game. Losing him for awhile isn't going to hurt that much. He is replaceable by Fitts, Priester or Kelly.

Cora played Casas today. Only Major Leaguer in the lineup. Message sent. Keep your mouth shut about personnel.

Devers is being selfish and is not thinking about the team. Bregman is a superior third baseman. It also holds back youth at second base. Devers should DH and Yoshida should be traded unless, somehow, he can be a 4th or 5th outfielder.

Arenado is an aging veteran. Stay away from him.

I saw about 10 Cardinal games in person last year and another 40 over the past 7 years. Arenado is not nearly the same player he was three years ago. He is an aging veteran who will still have some good games but his skills are deteriorating and he is not playing up to his contract. The Cardinals are trying hard to trade him because of that. The Red Sox should only take him if the Cardinals pay 75% of his salary and take a low, low level prospect for him. Otherwise, a big pass!
