    I would DFA Smith, Dalbec and Cooper. Send Westbrook back. Valdez is on thin ice. If Hamilton can hit .250 or better (now at .282) he is useful on this team. Those other guys are dead weight.

    I have seen more bad calls in the series against the Sox than I can remember seeing in any other series this year. Yesterday and today the homeplate ump has been brutal.

    Can we just be done with Bobby Dalbec? He can't hit major league pitching. Its torture to watch him up there. DFA him now.

    Teel and Wong can platoon for the rest of the second half. McGuire is toast. Rafaela doesn't get benched just because they have Anthony. Ref and O'Neill can both go. They aren't long term solutions. Yorke would hit better than Hamilton. I'm also not giving up on Grissom just yet. He needs to go back to AAA for more seasoning. He had no Spring Training and that really set him back offensively. Mayer should come up for the last 6 weeks of the season after he's played in AAA. He is having a comeback season. Lugo is also on the rise and should be up for the last 6 weeks. The Sox are out of the race for all practical purposes. Anyone who looks at their order and says they are a wild card team is crazy.

    Yorke was promoted to AAA this week and he is doing very well. To say he stinks is a ridiculous statement. He is going to play in the majors for the Red Sox or someone else.

    This season is over. The team sucks. The roster sucks. Bring up the kids from Portland (Mayer, Lugo (already at AAA), Yorke (already at AAA), Teel and let them play.

    Jordan Montgomery bombed again yesterday and booed off the field by Arizona fans. Sox dodged a bullet by not signing him.

    Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony, Kyle Teel, Nick Yorke, Matthew Lugo and Blaze Jordan (on IL currently after hot start) could all be in Boston by 2026.
