They only kept all 3 because Swihart was out of options. Now that he has proven himself and assuming that he continues to improve as a catcher between now and next year, they will trade one of the others.
-
They won't keep 3 catchers, I don't think.
-
Pomeranz may get the 8th tonight.
-
Which of Vazquez or Leon won't be with the Sox next year because Swihart will be. He is an offensive catcher who is only going to get better as a hitter.
-
When it rains, it pours.
-
If Kinsler heats up and starts hitting some homers the offense will be so much better.
-
This has been a real nice inning.
-
Nice hit by Holt. RBI triple.
-
If Benny was going to bunt, Holt should have squeezed the run in.
-
Not sure if I like the bunt there. Just giving up an out.
-
Moooooooookie!
-
Who will pitch the 8th? Has to be Braiser.
-
That is moving the runners JBJ!
-
JBJ needs to move the runners.
-
Nice hit by Swihart.

Miami starter, Trevor Richards, pitched in the Independent Frontier League for the Gateway Grizzlies when my son worked for them. Richards has endured and he finally got a break, got signed by the Marlins and made the show. That is a feel good story but I hope he loses tonight. Or he gets a no decision and the Sox win.
-
Kimbrel gets the win! Just goes to show how many times, wins aren't reflective of how someone has pitched.
-
Never a doubt. A walk off error.
-
Wow. What a way to win.
-
Omg!
-
Xander just missed his pitch.
-
Do not pinch run for J.D.

Since being drafted in June out of college, Feltman has struck out 31 and walked 3 in 19 1/3 innings, with a 2.29 ERA for Lowell, Greenville and Salem. Sale was in the majors the year he got drafted. Why not bring up Feltman? These other clowns in the bullpen all suck.
-
Might as well walk this guy too. He has already made himself unavailable for tomorrow.
-
I think I would bring up Durbin Feltman from minors. He couldn't do any worse than these guys.
