True. He was coming off a season in which he became the first pitcher to give at 8 earned runs in a start for three different teams in the same season and Breslow deemed him worth 38.5 million. And some doctor passed him and he doesn't make it through spring training.

They knew he couldn't pitch in 2024 so some genius determined that he was worth 40 million for one year! That is front office malpractice and should be a fireable offense.
