    Devers is being selfish and is not thinking about the team. Bregman is a superior third baseman. It also holds back youth at second base. Devers should DH and Yoshida should be traded unless, somehow, he can be a 4th or 5th outfielder.

    Arenado is an aging veteran. Stay away from him.

    I saw about 10 Cardinal games in person last year and another 40 over the past 7 years. Arenado is not nearly the same player he was three years ago. He is an aging veteran who will still have some good games but his skills are deteriorating and he is not playing up to his contract. The Cardinals are trying hard to trade him because of that. The Red Sox should only take him if the Cardinals pay 75% of his salary and take a low, low level prospect for him. Otherwise, a big pass!

    He has arm issues that cause the Orioles to pull out of the deal they had with him before he signed with the Jays.

    Buffalo didn't play to win. Its possible to lose a game on purpose.

    They haven't had any trouble not winning 13 other times. Ownership could have made sure they lost. Buffalo tanked the game worse than the Patriots. Frustrating for fans.

    I know this is a Red Sox board but I just have to vent a little. The Patriots are the DUMBEST franchise in sports right now. How could you win a meaningless game and lose the number ! draft pick. John Henry will be glad they will take the heat off of him for awhile.

    How did they not sign Burnes? Well.... 1. He lives in Scottsdale, AZ 2. He is married and has 3 little kids. 3. The Diamondbacks play 14 minutes from his house. 4 The Diamondbacks spring training facility is in Scottsdale, AZ 5. They gave him $210 Million to pitch in his hometown and he can sleep in his own bed and his kids can go to every home game and spring training. 6. The Diamondbacks are better now than the Red Sox. Now, do you want to ask again how the Red Sox didn't sign Burnes? They had no chance unless, maybe they gave him crazy money like 8/350m

    I saw 11 Cardinal games in person last year. Goldschmidt isn't as good as he once was but he'll be as good once as he ever was. He will have his moments for the Yankees but he is a pull hitter. Yankee Stadium won't be that good for him

    Another James Paxton. The Red Sox only get pitchers coming off of TJ surgery who are going to be out for most of the next season. Smart.

    Devers has led American League Third Basemen in errors for 7 straight seasons and Breslow is excited that he is the Red Sox Third Baseman. Yikes!!!

    Bregman would be ok if the contract is not unreasonable. I think he is on the downward slide. He isn't worth more than a 5 year deal.

    Because he hits right handed and would hit 50 HRs in Fenway. He can DH or play first. Casas can play first and DH. Devers can stay at 3rd.

    Sox need to sign a good right handed bat like Alonso, get rid of Yoshida (if possible), sign another starter and another good bullpen guy. That might get them into the playoffs if their young guys continue to get better.

    If the Sox aren't able to extend him or if he is a bust, this trade will go down as one of the worst in recent times. Maybe not Bagwell worthy, but possible if Teel and/or Montgomery turn out to be All-Stars.

    Montgomery is a power hitting switch hitter. All American. Can throw 95+. I hate the fact that they put him in the deal. They didn't even see what he could do as a professional due to his ankle injury. Dumb move.
