  1. Pedey for pitching coach. The hitting is fine.
  2. Note to SOX: Avoid hitting the ball towards 3rd.
  3. The Rockies are about 20 games under .500, yet they lead the NL with a .284 BA with RISP. Obviously, their pitching problems outweigh the SOX by a lot.
  4. Colorado has 3 very good everyday ballplayers, which is 2 more than Baltimore, KC, or Detroit.
  5. Reality sux; that's why we watch millionaire baseball.
  6. Actually, this rag arm on the Rockies has an ERA over 6.
  7. It's ususally interesting when SOX face throwers with ERA's over 5.
  8. All DP's are pretty when it's the other guy.
  9. Great play by Devers. Inspired by Nolan.
  10. E-rod 15-5 3.92ERA vs P. Lambert 2-4 6.40ERA Hopefully, E-rod continues to be the ACE of the staff. I believe he's accepted the fact that he's a very good starting pitcher.
  11. With players on the team like Owings and Josh Smith it appears the China tariffs have also devastated the SOX farm.
  12. My referring to Josh Smith as a triple A thrower may be giving him too much credit. He truly sux.
  13. A triple A batter hits a homer off a triple A thrower. The only difference is it happened in a major league ballpark.
  14. Offensively, Boston, Houston, and Colorado have the best left side of the infield in MLB.
  15. Haven't posted this in a while. A quality start for POR.
  16. Last year at this date in the season the SOX were 90-42.
  17. I believe the SOX will pass Tampa in the AL East, but Oakland and Cleveland, that's a much tougher challenge.
  18. Going to the Tigers when he did was probably the reason JD is what he is today as a hitter. Working with Cabrera and Victor Martinez had to have made an impact on his approach to hitting. The deep breath before every pitch is straight from the Martinez approach at the plate.
  19. Thanks, I definitely was off base on that stat.
  20. This is very true, but I was referring to the beginning of the season when SOX were employing closing by committee, which failed miserably.
