  1. I highly doubt JD knows how to bunt.
  2. Thanks, Slash. I was too lazy to look it up.
  3. Up until this year the SOX owned the NL.
  4. Now that the game is over, why is N.Dakota and S.Dakota two separate states? I believe the total population for both is 500 people and they both lack diversity.
  5. Damn, the dreaded lead-off double.
  6. It comes under the heading of "General Knowledge.'
  7. That usually ends up becoming R.I.P.
  8. Posters like Oldfartinthevegasdesert and Tedballgame always ask when they see someone reading a book "Why are you reading?" instead of "What are you reading?"
  9. "s*** for brains." That's original. Why do I have a feeling that, other than SOX games, you watch FOX NEWS constantly?
  10. Your words are still on the plate.
  11. I will give you points for the correct spelling of 'supremacist.' I will deduct points from myself for misspelling it.
  12. Desert sun must have fried your brain, oldfartinthevegasdesert.
  13. Nola is a very good pitcher. It's like sighting an American bald eagle.
  14. Yawkey would today be considered a white supremest. Back then he was just considered a good ol' boy.
  15. Baseball went from "say hey"(Willie Mays) to "say hayseed"(Bryce Harper.)
  16. Bad news for Nola is that his endangered species protection rights have been removed by Trumpy.
  17. Nola is a rare member of the endangered species in MLB. A good pitcher.
  18. Devers is overdue.
  19. Leadoff doubles never seem to end well with the SOX.
  20. With Ted's many visits to the childrens' hospital I'm sure he probably asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. I wonder what Ted's reaction would have been if one of the kids had answered "I want to be sports writer."
  21. No one individual did more for the Jimmy Fund than Ted Williams. One of his ideas for people to donate was that any check sent to Fenway, Ted would personally autograph. Teddy Ballgame was like an onion with many layers.
  22. Walden has a pretty impressive hits per innings pitched stat.
