VAZ looks like he's hitting fly balls with a fungo bat.
-
Which one? There's so many. Which is usually the case.
-
Thanks.
-
They were probably hoping he'd retire.
-
His profile states he's a switch-hitter. But you can't always believe what you read on the internet. Thank you, Capt Obvious.
-
They're not booing Stanton. They're yelling Boog, Stanton's nickname.
-
Hopefully, tomorrow Cora will begin the experiment of Duran in CF and Kike at first. Don't know why it didn't start tonight.
-
That was sad.
-
E-rod going for the record of 3 ball counts on batters.
-
A Royal HR.
-
And they wouldn't even pitch to Dalbec proving he is the most feared batter in the SOX line-up.
-
Yup. The killer was Judge's inside the park HR. He circled the bases in 2 minutes flat, breaking the previous record held by Secretariat.
-
It's too bad he doesn't have experience at 1st base. I just checked his profile and he's listed as a switch-hitter and he's 25 years old. Hope he begins his SOX career like a house afire.
-
Duran to start? I hope he isn't replacing Kike in CF.
-
Astros score 6 in bottom of the 9th to beat Yankems 8-7. And, no, Chapman wasn't involved.
-
True, but when one says 'pitching is the reason' it's usually in regards to the starters, not usually the BP. The SOX have flipped that so far this season.
-
And if VAZ sucks with handling the pitchers, why is the BP doing so well? Is it possible the SOX BP has better pitchers than their starters.
-
The SOX BP has been getting it done most of the season and, imho, is the main reason they are in 1st place. Hope they continue their excellence.
-
Agreed. This team has definitely overachieved. Let us all hope that overachieving can last a whole season.
-
Respect your opinion, Moon, but seriously this isn't exactly what one would call a PO contending starting staff. A catcher can only do so much with what he has to work with.
-
The only All-star that inning was Suarez.
-
Funny, when VAZ screws up, many posters here can't wait to jump all over him, but when he makes a great play, crickets.
-
About as perfect a throw to 2nd as can be made.
-
That truly sucked.
-
Wild pitch, passed ball, balk. I'll take any of them.
