If this is Bogey's last season with the SOX, he's going with a whimper, not a bang.

In the minors this season Joan had an ERA just under 5. So he's bad enough to give the SOX problems.

18 to be exact. Needs to be more economical if he plans on going more than 5.

SOX haven't seen Joan before, so that usually is an advantage to the pitcher.

When I first saw on the schedule that the Nats were starting a pitcher named Joan Adon, my first thought was is this the first female to appear in a MLB game? It turned out that Joan was a guy, but either way, the SOX shouldn't lose to a Joan. Btw, my favorite Joan is Joan Jett.

Head scratcher. All I know for sure is that if the SOX win tomorrow, they will have home field advantage in the WC no matter what the other 3 teams do. Their season record at home reflects that it is an advantage.

The best scenario for the SOX is that they win tomorrow and the other three finish tied. This would send the WC game to Wednesday instead of Tuesday. It would also mess up the starting plans for whomever wins the 3 game playoff and wear out their BP a little. Definitely advantageous for the SOX.

I certainly hope the BP can go on adrenalin tomorrow. BP=Brassier, Robles,Richards, Whitlock(don't know his availability, seems like a secret) and then it's potluck.
