  1. Right now it's EO and Sale and 3 days of hail.
  2. I can't help but wonder how many good starting pitchers the Rays' farm has developed since Boston's last one, Clay Buchholz?
  3. One word response. "Unfortunately."
  4. VAZ is a good contact hitter. Unfortunately, most of his contact are fungo fly balls to the OF.
  5. Why do you keep saying 'another DH?' The SOX aren't going to keep both Schwarber and JD. Geez.
  6. This game seems like it should be more than 3-0. This is still a very winnable game for the SOX.
  7. Yup. Good and bad depending on who you're rooting for.
  8. Bobby Dee. Two at bats. Two atom balls.
  9. I believe the SOX FO would rather re-sign Schwarber and try to trade JD.
  10. That is why I had just posted "unfortunately, this will probably be Schwarber's last season with the SOX." JD will go somewhere if the SOX can trade him w/o having to eat too much of his 20 million.
  11. We all have our opinions. My opinion is that I'd rather have Schwarber next year than JD.
  12. I get it. The Rays have won 3 divisional titles with their small payroll. Have they won a WS? Nope. So what's the point? If a team doesn't win the WS, the season is pretty much a failure.
  13. Unfortunately, this will probably be Schwarber's last season with the SOX.
  14. I have reduced his QO to $15.00/hr.
  15. I wonder if it was E-rod's body language on that long fly to center that had Cora remove him?
  16. Hey, Vegas, I resemble that comment.
  17. It's a key to the Rays' success.
  18. Another lead-off walk. When will he ever learn? When will he ever learn?
  19. Could have used a 3-run homer there, which the SOX led the league in. At least, that is what I was told, although I still find it hard to believe.
  20. It appears that E-rod is the nervous rookie pitching in this game.
  21. SOX have Rays right where they want them. It's time for come-back city. Note to Bogey: You are going to get a fastball down the middle on the 1st pitch, because the pitcher and catcher know you don't swing at the first pitch. Next time up why don't you surprise them.
  22. When E-rod starts, one has to hope. And hope some more.
  23. As this series goes on, please just remember that the SOX did remove the Yankems from the PO's. That alone is worth celebrating no matter what happens against the Rays.
  24. Well, the SOX did lead the AL in 3-run homers, which implies that base stealing was not a priority. I was shocked the 1st time I heard that the SOX led in 3-run homers. I would not have been shocked at all if I'd heard that the SOX led the league in solo homers.
