  1. Those 55 foot pitches we see so often during games would be really great if the game was Cricket.
  2. So far, Richards isn't really fooling too many Braves' batters.
  3. Back in the golden age of baseball when a batter hit a home run, the next guy up would be thrown at, which, to me, never made any sense. If the pitcher was going to throw at somebody, why not wait for the guy who hit the HR to come to the plate.
  4. Is Arroyo injured or does Cora not have any love for him? Also, sadly, there will probably be no chance of seeing Tull pitch against the other rock legend Santana tonight.
  5. I have to admit that the Braves are much better than the SOX in the lead-off position. Thank you, Capt Obvious.
  6. Renfroe has really given this line-up some extension.
  7. Check out a band called FLEET FOXES. You might like them.
  8. After a very successful career as leader of the band JETHRO TULL, Ian Anderson has now become a decent pitcher for the Braves.
  9. Others who were bullet-ridden would include Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in BONNIE AND CLYDE and Denzel Washington in TRAINING DAY.
  10. I wonder who was hit with more bullets? Al Pacino in SCARFACE or James Caan in THE GODFATHER?
  11. I've been binging on an FX series called MR INBETWEEN. This Australian series isn't the 2nd coming of BREAKING BAD, but it is damn good.
  12. The Rays are like cockroaches; hard to kill.
  13. White Sox win in bottom of 10th. F you, Rays.
  14. Lots of day games today, which includes the Rays at White Sox. Definitely I will watch that one. BTW, the SOX game is being broadcast on ESPN tonight.
  15. 6 of the SOX 10 road losses occurred in the state of Texas.
  16. The SOX are 21-10, second only to the Rays at 24-11.
  17. The SOX are 9-2 against the NL Least.
  18. Because I don't believe any wins are ugly, I would go as far as describing this one as unattractive.
