I noticed that there are 3 games starting at 7:15 tonight all being televised by FOX. Living here in central NY I just checked my TV listings and fortunately I will be getting the SOX game. I was under the impression that FOX had set up the schedule so that only one game would be played on Saturday nights. People like myself who paid good money for the MLB Extra Innings package will be blocked out in CNY if they were planning on watching either the Dodgers/Nats game or the Astros/ Guardians game. FOX definitely screwed them.

I willing to hazard a guess that Kike has the strongest throwing arm of any 2nd baseman in MLB.

If a reliever comes into the game and gets the last out of, let's say, the 7th inning. Does he have to come back and face two batters in the 8th inning? I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

The new rule that a reliever has to face a minimum of 3 batters really sucks. The game is becoming a joke.

I would have enjoyed watching Devers face Mark Fidrych in a game. Devers talking to his bat and Fidrych talking to the baseball.

Interesting by the fact that JD is being replaced in the line-up by Marwin. Never understood giving a hot hitter a day off, especially when he's the DH. It's also possible JD has a slight injury that hasn't been reported to the media or JD's lifetime stats against Montas are terrible.

Interesting, the 3 OP's who've achieved the most success so far this season have monikers that all start with the letter 'M.' MAX, MOON, and MVP78. It's also interesting that 'Mojo' starts with the letter 'M.' Coincidence? I don't think so.

If I had to choose the classiest SOX of all-time, I'd pick the late, great Bobby Doerr. I met Mr Doerr at YAZ's HOF ceremony. One of the nicest and most giving person I've ever met.
