    Speaking of bereavement, I believe during his time with the SOX Manny had at least 4 grandmothers who died and I don't believe he ever took a leave.

    Rays get timely hit in 3rd; SOX get no timely hit in 4th. Besides the Rays having better defense and better pitching than the SOX, they also are better in timely hitting. The Rays have scored more runs than the SOX and have a team batting average almost 25 points lower.
