  1. Sal Romano? Sounds like he should own a car dealership.
  2. He has 4 pitches and isn't afraid to throw any of them.
  3. Arroyo is a walking injury about to happen. He can't be counted on. Go get Rizzo.
  4. The SOX BP continues to be the biggest positive on this team.
  5. VAZ has more passed balls than the Celtics.
  6. Is there a team in MLB that swings at more bad pitches than the SOX? Probably why the SOX are near the bottom in walks. It truly is amazing, with so many negatives, that this team is where they are right now.
  7. If that's the case, because I didn't see him flinch on any swings tonight, but if he is playing with a bum wrist, then he shouldn't be playing.
  8. Definitely impressed with Houck. I just hope he has a 'rubber' arm, because, like Sale, he flings mostly with his arm, with little help from his body.
  9. Well, Bogey, who's been in a minor slump, just happened to hit an atom ball. That's what usually happens when one is in a slump.
  10. If this game does re-start at 9:40, I wonder if Montgomery will continue. If it's more than 45 minutes, the pitcher is usually pulled.
  11. Montgomery's OPS against is .555 with no runners in scoring position. One of the lowest in the league. However, his OPS against with RISP is .855, one of the highest in the league. Make of that what you will.
  12. I just heard that Houck has been working on a change-up. But a good change-up doesn't happen overnight. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
  13. No doubt, Houck looks like the most promising starter to come thru the SOX farm since Buchholz.
  14. Houck has a good fastball and a great slider, which is ideal for a reliever. He needs, at least, one more good pitch to be a consistent starter.
  15. I guess this 'stretching out' is overrated. Maybe Cora should start Whitlock soon.
  16. Don't you want to see two 7 inning games on Sunday?
  17. He didn't 'stink' in his last start against us either.
  18. If he stinks, what does that say about the SOX starting staff?
  19. Hopefully, the SOX can score more than 1, but who knows?
