    That's true and neither is Cora, but there's been something magical about being a first year manager in Boston since 2004.

    Good question, but Dalbec was the last batter at the plate to make an out, so he becomes the ghost runner. Plus it's good that Bobby gets on 2nd in case he forgets where it is.

    Cora makes the decisions and plays hunches. In 2018 most of his 'hunches' worked. Does that make him a genius manager? For that one year it did.

    The problem was taking out Strahm to start the 9th. I'd also posted that before the top of the 9th.

    And how do you not PH for Dalbec when you have a LH batter on the bench who has been hitting the ball hard of late? And I did post that Cordero PH for Dulbec before Dulbec came to the plate.

    I don't know, Mr Wizard. I do know that teams with good starting pitching have a decent chance of making the PO's. But then, if this team continues most of the rest of the season with this anemic offense, I guess it won't matter.
