  1. The team I follow in the NFL has less of a chance of making the PO's than the SOX. In fact, the only thing of interest regarding this particular NFL team is what will their new nickname be.
  2. Hindsight is golden, but at this point I wish the SOX had signed JD for 4 years at 100 million.
  3. When the SOX have Dugo, Kike, and Renfroe in the OF, it may be the best defensive OF in the league. The infield is an entirely different animal.
  4. They can't even get the phone to work.
  5. I'm not sure even Rizzo could have come up with that s*** throw.
  6. ECK just said the Mets are reeling. Hey, ECK, can you name another team that's reeling?
  7. Getting knocked out of the game by the Rangers isn't easy.
  8. Only need 3 solo HR's to tie this one.
  9. They talked about the time Valentine replaced Iggy at the plate after Iggy had 2 strikes.
  10. Watched a video on youtube earlier today called The Most Hated Manager In Baseball. Guess who it was about? You are correct; Bobby Valentine and his one year with the SOX in 2012.
  11. It was an obvious clean catch.
  12. Slow runners are the main ingredient in most great defensive plays.
  13. JD is still a less slower runner than A-Gon was.
  14. Texas has won 14 games on the road, so it isn't like they can't win on the road.
  15. The SOX haven't had a come back win in a while.
  16. The Rangers' offense should be put on suicide watch.
  17. Don't you have a Yankem forum you can bore to tears? You're kind of a worm.
  18. Correction: Abreu is now leading in RBI with 92.
  19. Interesting that the 2 leaders in RBI are both slumping at the same time. Vlad, Jr. is 15-70 with 4 RBI in his last 18 games counting today.
  20. I assume you're referring to professional athletes.
  21. You could call it a 'collapse,' but I feel the weaknesses on this team just caught up with them, even though it took about 100 games. There's no doubt this team overachieved for more than half the season, but like clutch hitting, magic and mojo, that's usually not sustainable.* *If for nothing else, this season has introduced me to a word I really like.
  22. Btw, Kike is one tough hombre. After that base running collision, he shook it off and went back to his position. That's old school.
  23. I don't have to. He does it on his own.
