    Just checked another source. Muscle tightness in his forearm; no structural damage.

    MLB network stated it was a forearm injury. Either way, he's out of the LCS.

    Maybe it's already been mentioned, but McCullers is out of the ALCS because of a bad forearm.

    According to the 'experts' on the MLB network, we SOX fans shouldn't even bother watching this series because the SOX don't stand a chance. Recent history would tend to back that up, but I've really noticed how in PO games that recent history means absolutely nothing. If it did, the SOX would have lost to the Rays. The only time it's certain that one team will beat another in the PO's is when the Yankems play the Twinkies. That pretty much applies to the regular season also.

    Anytime a manager sends a pitcher into a game, no matter if he's a starter or reliever, there's luck involved. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. The more inconsistent the pitcher has been during the season and he is successful, the more luck is involved. No manager knows in advance what a certain pitcher is going to have during a certain game. That a reliever now, in most instances, has to face at least 3 batters, that increases the luck factor.

    Seeding by record, which I agree with, worked perfectly this season in the AL for these PO series.

    In the check swing I was referring to, it wasn't even close to a swing. An otherwise great game was marred by a inexcusably bad call by the 1st base chUMP. And, as usual, there will be no punishment by their union for that disgusting mistake. Anyone who thinks bad calls by the chUMPIRES don't affect the results of a game, well, I disagree. Hopefully, the SOX/Astros series will not be affected by shite calls.

    I watched the Dodgers/Giants game last night and found it appropo that the last out of the game was on an atrocious check swing call by the 1st base chUMP. Supposedly, the chUMPIRES' union is tasked with picking the best chUMPS from the regular season to work the PO's. Of course, that was proven BS when I saw Angel Hernandez working the Brewers/Braves series. I believe every call these chUMPS make should be reviewable for the simple reason that they suck so bad.

    Sawamura and D-Hern are on the 26 man roster for ALCS. Barnes and Davis are left out. Santana is also on roster.

    If leaving Houston at least at 1-1 is considered successful, which I would agree with, then starting Sale today and EO tomorrow is no big deal.

    I seldom correct other posters' 'improper grammar' or misspellings. In fact, I never correct them. This a baseball forum; not an introduction to proper English. But thanks, I'll try to remember that in the future or not.
