JD is just another of many FA's signed by the SOX to a long-term contract, who most of us want gone before his contract expires.

The symbol '-' is representative of 'minus' and also 'thru.' If used in a math example, to avoid confusion, it might be better to just write the word thru.

"JD-Maybe gone." I don't see JD opting out after this season and turning down 19 million dollars. I, also, don't see him getting traded unless the SOX eat a big chunk of his 2022 contract.

Well, now that we've covered the mystery of the SOX ball girls, I'm gonna try to find a good movie on Netflix that I haven't already seen. Not an easy task.

Except for maybe Ted Williams, those kind of slumps happen to the best of players. He'll bounce back, but I'm not so sure the SOX will.

The O's are on their way for their 17th straight loss. The MLB record was the 1961 Phillies with 23 straight losses. Btw, the 1988 O's had a losing streak of 21 games.

Depends on how much money. He shouldn't be paid more than a #4 starter.

OB mentioned that there were only 5,000 in attendance at a recent Rays' home game. I have nothing against the Rays' ballclub, but their city doesn't deserve anything approaching a WS championship. In fact the whole state doesn't deserve a major league franchise. Spring training is the only major league baseball that should be played in that Mickey Mouse state.
