I guess he doesn't like to be stared at as helpless SOX batters walk back to the dugout. Just another talented A-hole playing MLB.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Manura is full of s***.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
In Cora's mind hitting a HR requires a benching.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Yolmer isn't a prospect; he played 6 years with the White Sox before coming to Boston.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I guess he's not a Cora favorite like JBJ. Bloom should do Ref a favor by trading him.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
As I've posted before, I still think Kutter has the best stuff of any SOX starter.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
But they already had the irreplaceable JBJ.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The SOX should have sprung at Springer.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Nope, it's an example of an unproductive SS looking to make 25-30mil/yr.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
You know the line-up's weak when the opposing manager tells his pitcher "don't let Bogey beat ya."
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
He's actually hit more HR's than Bogey with over 100 less at bats.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Bobby Dee hammers a hanger. Bout time.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
One thing in the SOX favor is the Jays should be tired from all their base running last night.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Seriously, hitting a baseball, as we all know, is one of the most difficult things in sports. So I give Duran a pass on that for now. But there is no excuse at this point that his defense should be so shoddy.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Yup, I'm sure once Duran begins hitting like Ted Williams all will be forgiven.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I didn't mention any pitcher. That was Larry Cook.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
And to add to the frustration of faux genius Cora's managing is that not only is Ref a better hitter than Duran, he's better defensively.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
So Duran is rewarded for his lack of hustle last night by starting today and Ref is rewarded for his HR last night by being benched today. Way to manage, Cora.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Thank goodness the SOX have Downs to replace him.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Getting anything decent is better than getting nothing.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I get your point seeing as how Soto is 7 years younger than Judge.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Which of the two 'geniuses' finally did get vaxed? Houck or Duran? I don't remember.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The only thing Duran can do well is run fast and the SOX farm system had nothing to do with that. Maybe earlier in the season Duran was told that getting vaxed would affect his only skill, running fast.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Here's a cliche to brighten the day. "It's always darkest before the dawn." I don't believe it can get any darker than last night's game.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The 3 & 4 batters in the SOX line-up have a combined total of 16 HR's and 75 RBI and yet you go after Dugo and VAZ. How convenient.
