  1. Shaw or Dalbac? Tough call.
  2. Called out on a checked swing. SOX caught a break there.
  3. I've been so wrapped up with hockey during the off-season, I didn't even know that ML teams can now carry 28 players. So I guess that means T. Shaw is the back-up 1st baseman.
  4. Strange the SOX 140 million dollar man isn't playing against the Yankems tonight.
  5. Growing that beard makes Cora look even smarter.
  6. BRUINS already lost to the Russians earlier today, so this could end up being a real s***** day.
  7. Oh, s***! Can't say I'm surprised.
  8. Houck definitely has a big set of balls. He's a cool customer. Nice job.
  9. Much like Pivetta yesterday, I guess Cora wants to get Houck stretched out.
  10. Well, at least the SOX got one. Baby steps.
  11. Good bunt by Plawecki.
  12. SOX runner on 2nd with no outs. We're screwed.
  13. Yup, with hardly any offense, making the defense weaker isn't the answer.
  14. If Hicks had given Bob Gibson that look, the next pitch would have been even more inside.
  15. Just curious. Who is the back-up 1st baseman for the SOX?
  16. Houck seems to be a RH version of Sale. I just hope Houck's arm can hold up. Imho, pitching that way reduces help from the legs and puts a lot of strain on the arm. Not exactly the mechanics employed by Tom Seaver.
  17. If the SOX can't put up a bunch on this rag, I'd be very disappointed.
  18. 30 pitches. No rest for the pen.
  19. How the hell does Gallo have an OPS+ of 121? It's only 7 less than JD.
  20. Again, the SOX have an early lead. Definitely time to worry.
  21. Another example of how much ESPN hates baseball.
  22. Kay and A-roid. Dumb and scum.
  23. It's too early in the season to spot any patterns yet. If the SOX play up to their talents, they'll be fine.
  24. On the positive side the SOX do have a damn good defensive OF.
