  1. The best scenario for the SOX is that they win tomorrow and the other three finish tied. This would send the WC game to Wednesday instead of Tuesday. It would also mess up the starting plans for whomever wins the 3 game playoff and wear out their BP a little. Definitely advantageous for the SOX.
  2. I certainly hope the BP can go on adrenalin tomorrow. BP=Brassier, Robles,Richards, Whitlock(don't know his availability, seems like a secret) and then it's potluck.
  3. This was one of those "in spite of" wins.
  4. Well, they'll have to find some, because, unless EO is pitching tomorrow, BP time will start no later than the 6th and maybe earlier.
  5. The SOX BP provides more drama than Alfred Hitchcock ever dreamed of.
  6. Let me modify this post "if the SOX can win today and tomorrow."
  7. That would only pertain to homefield advantage if they were already in the WC.
  8. A 3-team playoff, which would be great for the SOX, if the SOX can win tomorrow.
  9. Earl Weaver was a very foolish manager, but baseball managers back then got very angry when their team was losing.
  10. I guess the SOX offense was getting sick of the abuse on this thread. I, for one, was very kind to the SOX offense and I want that engraved on my tombstone.
  11. Like a Hoover, but not like a Dyson.
  12. True, but it would prove that Cora isn't comatose.
  13. As I keep on posting 'deserves has nothing to do with it.' If deserves had anything to do with it, we'd only be talking about the Rays.
  14. Nats' clown announcer said that was close to a grand slam. Hey, dipshit, close is when the fielder has his back against the fence, not when he's standing in the front part of the warning track.
  15. Saint Cora feels too important to be tossed out of a game.
  16. That was a strike and I loved seeing Cora charge out of the dugout to confront the chUMP.
  17. Ottavino can barely deal with 3 outs, much less 4.
  18. You swung, a-hole.
  19. f***, I'm done praising anyone on this team, except Bra Man.
  20. If the SOX win, it's because one time he didn't choke.
  21. No Barnes, but probably Robles.
  22. VAZ framed that in the 'ball' zone.
