  1. Not mad at Shaw. It's the 20 million dollar guys who've been s***ing the bed, when they've been needed most.
  2. Other 'Joans' who could shutdown the SOX: Fontaine Baez Jett Rivers Collins Crawford
  3. The memory may not go away, but there's a few SOX players I hope go away before next season.
  4. It's more like going to the toilet than going to the well.
  5. EO tomorrow and E-rod on Tuesday. Yes, I can see the future. That's why they call me Nosferatu. Oh, s***, Nosferatu was a vampire. Sorry, can't help you.
  6. If Richards fields that clean there's a force out at home. If frogs had wings......
  7. Thank goodness they allowed Zimmerman to play his last career game today.
  8. I'll take a run over to Good Will. How many do we need?
  9. Squirrels would provide better base running than a lot of these SOX players.
  10. Even w/o Sale the SOX still have enough pitching for a one game series.
  11. Ya mean like running in front of a car?
  12. Baserunning. Another strength in the SOX arsenal.
  13. Weakening the defense to keep JD in the line-up has paid big dividends.
  14. YUP, and getting swept by the Yankems in your own ballpark.
  15. IF the SOX win today!
  16. If there is a tie for a wild card spot and the SOX win today, the SOX won't play tomorrow. My bad. If the SOX win today, they won't play again until Tuesday. If the Yankems lose today and the Mariners and Jays win, then the SOX won't play until Wednesday.
  17. He can also be traded, which I think Bloom will attempt during the offseason.
  18. If this is Bogey's last season with the SOX, he's going with a whimper, not a bang.
  19. In the minors this season Joan had an ERA just under 5. So he's bad enough to give the SOX problems.
  20. 18 to be exact. Needs to be more economical if he plans on going more than 5.
  21. SOX haven't seen Joan before, so that usually is an advantage to the pitcher.
  22. When I first saw on the schedule that the Nats were starting a pitcher named Joan Adon, my first thought was is this the first female to appear in a MLB game? It turned out that Joan was a guy, but either way, the SOX shouldn't lose to a Joan. Btw, my favorite Joan is Joan Jett.
  23. Head scratcher. All I know for sure is that if the SOX win tomorrow, they will have home field advantage in the WC no matter what the other 3 teams do. Their season record at home reflects that it is an advantage.
