  1. I don't have info on MM's vital stats, but I do have a vital stat on Jayne Mansfield. Her IQ was a reported 149. Not all books should be judged by their cover.
  2. They all have their own agenda. All the news thats print to fit.
  3. In his last 5 starts Cole's ERA is over 6 and BA against him is over .300. Interesting though is that his average velocity over his last 5 games has been 97.7, which is exactly the same as he's had all season.
  4. The mystery of JD tripping over 2nd base has been solved. Turns out that before running to the OF, JD always steps on 2nd base. This time he slipped.
  5. IMHO, the strongest part of the Yankem's team is their BP. They will make it very tough if the SOX get behind early. And now that Severino is back, the Yankem's BP is even stronger.
  6. Just heard on MLB network that the Mets are meeting with Theo this week concerning the opening in their FO.
  7. Based on what I've seen Lemahieu do against the SOX, I tend to agree.
  8. Sandler did prove his acting chops in the movie UNCUT GEMS. He hit it out of the park.
  9. On the good news front: Lemahieu won't be playing tonight. He's on the 10 day IL.
  10. I would give this post a definite YUP.
  11. He's also the most likely SOX to accept a walk.
  12. NY Post; a step down from the Enquirer.
  13. The odds are against that happening, but the SOX have beaten the odds all season.
  14. But, having said this, I do believe JD has a stronger arm than Schwarber.
  15. Similar to saying Justin Bieber is better than Vanilla Ice.
  16. The only time it would be necessary for JD to stay in the line-up and play the OF would be in the WS. That really is 'going forward.'
  17. No question about that.
  18. No question about that.
  19. Btw, I believe one would have to go back to the late 90's Cleveland Guardians to see an offense as potent as Toronto's this season. If they had gotten to play half their season in front of their fans in Toronto, the standings may have ended quite differently, but them's the breaks. I'm predicting the Jays will be the team to beat next year.
  20. The SOX had to sweep the Nats on the road and they did. They now have home field 'advantage?' Everything before the Nats' series is now meaningless. Whatever happens on Tuesday night will not refute the fact that this SOX team achieved more than most of us expected back in late March and especially after being swept by the O's in the season opening series. Go SOX!
  21. Hard to believe that was 43 years ago.
  22. Time machine set for 1978 with, hopefully, a better ending.
