  1. Not bad; only 16 pitches to load the bases and get 3 outs.
  2. Kike Devers Story Dugo VAZ Franchy(DH) Dalbec JBJ Arroyo(SS)
  3. Btw, Winckowski averaged just a little over 4 innings per appearance at Triple A. Not expecting another complete game, but I've been wrong before.
  4. Obviously Cora has no faith in his BP and rightly so, except for maybe a couple of guys. So, of course, Cora will extend EO and Pivetta as much as possible. The other 3 starters would be successful if they could just last 5 innings.
  5. D. Reyes (0-0) vs J. Winckowski (0-0) Winckowski making his major league debut because of the SOX 10th game in 9 days. He does have 'win' in his last name so that's encouraging. His WHIP at Triple A is a minuscule 0.853. The SOX BP, thanks to EO, should be better than last night. HOPEFULLY! Go SOX!
  6. EO kept us from ranting about the BP. Great job!
  7. Two complete games by SOX starters. SOX must be near the top in that category.
  8. Stupidity is one commodity this country has no shortage in.
  9. When someone brings a baby to a SOX game, are there only certain seating locations one is allowed to sit? Or is it just plain stupid to bring a baby to a baseball game?
  10. Well, based on Cobb's history, it's very difficult for him to spike someone when he hits a HR. Spiking someone was the part of the game he probably considered fun.
  11. The swinging bunt is a great offensive weapon.
  12. Based on Devers vast improvement defensively, the SOX FO won't be able to use his defensive liability to lower his asking price.
  13. Thanks; that answers my opposite field question. Btw, I read where Ted visited a little boy at the hospital. The boy wouldn't let go of Ted's hand, so Ted asked the nurse if she could find him a cot and Ted stayed the night with the boy.
  14. Dalbec was way overdue like a library book with a $1,000.00 fine.
  15. WOW! I just looked out my window to make sure where I live hasn't frozen over.
  16. Only getting 3 runs off that rag arm Lyles was disappointing.
  17. Like the guy in the booth said EO does nothing to make the batters uncomfortable.
  18. Ted would love Kike because Kike pulls everything. Very rare you ever see Kike get a hit to the opposite field.
  19. Ted Williams never believed that batters should hit to the opposite field. He believed a batter should pull everything. With that being said, I would be curious knowing how many HR's Ted hit to the opposite field, if any.
  20. He's a completely different hitter when he goes opposite field.
  21. In the case of Ortiz, Pedro had more to do with David coming to the SOX than anyone did.
  22. Theo got most of the credit, but it was Duquette who put the core of that 2004 team together.
  23. Sweeping today's DH will help rinse out the terrible taste of last night's disaster.
