    I wasn't happy that Bloom traded VAZ and I wasn't happy that Bloom didn't trade JD. But could some of us give Pham, McGuire and Hosmer at least a couple of weeks to demonstrate whether they're a positive or negative addition to the SOX before we s*** all over the SOX GM? I find it disappointing that a couple of posters here who don't share a certain poster's opinion and that certain poster has proven his love for the SOX over many years have decided instead to agree with the spew of a another poster, who is nothing but a troll. I also may not always agree with posters here who also love the SOX, but I sure as s*** wouldn't be inclined to agree with known trolls, who continue to haunt this board.

    Prospects are like flowers. Some bloom early, some bloom later, and some never bloom at all. But the fact of the matter is that nearly every MLB player was at one time a flower, er, I mean prospect.

    VAZ also proved today that a catcher's CERA is in direct proportion to the quality of the pitching.

    Too bad the SOX lost today. Would have been nice to have momentum going into KC to play 4 against the tough Royals.

    I agree with that. Too much 'whine' in his announcing, similar to Michael Kay.

    Good luck with the Brewers when they'll eventually have to replace Uecker. Similar to the SOX trying to replace Remy. So far, that hasn't happened and it probably never will.

    I grant you OB is no Orsillo, but with my Extra Innings package I've been exposed to many game announcers when the SOX are on the road. Seriously, be happy the SOX have OB, because there's a whole lot worse out there.

    Baltimore fired announcer Jon Miller because he wasn't a 'homer' enough.

    All NESN will say regarding not renewing Orsillo's contract is "we want to go in a new direction." Whatever the hell that means.

    Maybe if Bloom had added JD to the deal, we could have gotten Orsillo. Maybe not.
