  1. No doubt Wacha got some good pitching tips from AW when they were teammates.
  2. Story's bat isn't affecting his glove. Great play.
  3. That was my basis in comparing him to Napoli.
  4. AW seems to have all his pitches working tonight. Wacha better be good.
  5. My warning went unheeded. Arenado appears to own Wacha.
  6. Here's a reason the SOX record isn't better than it should be that I haven't seen posted. JD and Bogey just aren't driving in runs. Of course, there's a couple other reasons, but I thought this should be mentioned.
  7. Cards have an impressive line-up. Probably the best line-up the SOX have faced so far this season.
  8. Not bad; he's been making pretty good contact and has even laid down a nice bunt for a single.
  9. The SOX and Cards have a great history against each other. Since 1946 they've met in 4 World Series with each winning 2. Their games won/lost in the 4 WS are 14-10 in favor of the SOX.
  10. Thanks, let's just hope the SOX offense can be scary tonight.
  11. Duran Devers JD Bogey Dugo Story Cordero VAZ JBJ
  12. A. Wainwright 5-4 2.84ERA vs M. Wacha 4-1 2.33ERA Wainwright's been good for a long time. Warning: Arenado is 6 for 13 with 3 dingers against Wacha. Go SOX!
  13. The best thing I saw today during the game was Sale's body language in the dugout. The SOX have a good chance of adding one of the best pitchers in MLB to their rotation in the very near future. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.
  14. He's still the best player on the SOX and every team in MLB would love to have him.
  15. Puk? Shouldn't he be playing hockey? Anyway, Puk him for hitting Devers.
  16. I don't like the rule that Bobby Dee has to begin his at bats with an 0-2 count. I know the powers that be want to speed up the game, but that's not fair.
  17. "It's the same old story, a fight for love and glory, a case of do or die. The nation will always welcome hitters, as time goes by." Don't play it again, Sam.
  18. There's no excuse for his lack of offense of late, but I really can't criticize his defense. He's been pretty damn good defensively at 2nd.
  19. If you hit good pitchers too much, they're really not good pitchers.
  20. When one shakes a baseball tree, out falls 10 gloves to every bat.
  21. Blackburn's a good pitcher and the chUMP behind home plate has squeezed him unmercifully.
  22. Story's body language assured me that he was going to catch it. Not Duran's fault.
  23. Wasn't surprised when Story struck out, but that pop-up miss was noticeable.
  24. Exactly. I don't believe Cordero has embarrassed himself playing 1st base, in fact, like last night, he's made some damn nice plays there. I also believe that Ref and JBJ should platoon in RF, at least until Ref proves he can't play there effectively.
