    I can imagine a person of any age not able to catch a fly ball. I know you're referring to Duran and the ball he couldn't see and he didn't hustle after. So, I agree, all SOX fans should judge Duran's present and future on that one play. Of course, if Duran starts putting wood to the ball the like he did last night, I'm pretty sure that will all be forgotten. Because if a player can hit, all of a sudden his defense is less important. Two perfect examples would be Bogey and Jeter.

    Hosmer's no trade protection kept him from being part of the package for Soto. Btw, Hosmer is 32 yrs old.

    Hosmer's stats for 2022: .272BA 40 RBI 8 HR's .727 OPS 112 OPS+ I've seen a lot worse, so I do believe there is some quality here.

    I believe waiting until the end of this season would give all of us a better perspective. The SOX did progress better than expected last year, so Bloom hasn't been a complete failure as many here suggest. Also, waiting until the end of the season would give all of us a better perspective on Cora.
