    Joe Buck made it plain early in his career that he wasn't going to be a baseball announcer like his father, the great Jack Buck. He definitely succeeded.

    Devers is the best position player on either team. We SOX fans will have many years to enjoy his greatness.

    Sale is about 75% of what he was before he wasn't. Perhaps he can get that other 25% by next season. There was some good signs tonight. The SOX got beat tonight by a pitcher with good stuff, who probably pitched his best game of his career. You can only tip your cap.
