    The offense will be fine; I worry more about the pitching as the season progresses. I remember in the 1967 season the Cardinals had, perhaps, one of the worst offenses since post war baseball. They ended up beating the SOX in the WS. It's usually good pitching and defense that gets a team to the promised land.

    I've described Story as the new Napoli for the SOX. Not a bad thing, because the SOX did win the WS with Naps in 2013.

    Looks like that day off did Devers a lot of good. I guess he was due for a little slump. I just hope it's little. Not Story like.

    Selling points: Dalbec can throw the leather at 1st; Franchy, when he hits HR's, they go far, and Arroyo, well he has a nice beard. If you agree to this trade in the next 48 hours, as a bonus the SOX will throw in ace reliever Bra Man.

    Last night the SOX had an excuse for not producing, Ohtani. No excuse tonight. The SOX offense of late bringing back bad memories of April.
