  1. Because there's a ton of mediocre to crap teams playing under .500, including Seattle.
  2. Dugo continues to get himself out by allowing inside pitches to jam him. His at-bats are becoming tiresome to watch.
  3. Even though Houck isn't starting, if he was starting, Houck going the distance would garner the same odds as me going the distance in the Boston Marathon. A million to one.
  4. I wasn't including Whitlock in my BP post regarding AD, because Whit is now classified as a starter. But thanks for the in-depth breakdown.
  5. There are 7 teams in the AL that are over .500. Four of them are in the AL East.
  6. Watching the Cubs getting destroyed by the Yankems again. There appears to be more crappy baseball teams than normal this season, the Cubs being one of them. I guess we should be happy that the SOX aren't in that large group so far this season.
  7. After the checking the pitching stats of the BP, it appears that Austin Davis has been the SOX most reliable reliever. He leads in innings pitched(24) and his ERA is at 1.50.
  8. After absorbing this corrected news of a different SOX starter, it is possible Houck will close today.
  9. Because I'm a baseball genius, I've deduced that Houck won't be closing today. No shite, Sherlock.
  10. It's more than a bitch because there's ice cream sandwiches in this same freezer and I can't grab one.
  11. I just remembered who I struck out. It was Story's great great grandfather.
  12. You're right; I had forgotten about that and I also forgot who the guy was I struck out. It's a bitch being dead. I just wish that the AL had implemented the DH when I was playing. Those morons waited too long.
  13. BARNES & ROBLES. Save on books but not on ballgames.
  14. Hell, right now it wouldn't hurt to give me a look.
  15. Because BP's are a major part of modern baseball, a moron at handling the BP would pretty much, imho, disqualify him from being a good manager. But I could be wrong.
  16. Still a lot of season left. I'm expecting relief help from the farm. Hold on, er, what's that? Nevermind.
  17. Well, that closer audition didn't go well. Next.
  18. I swore I'd never be fooled again, but Franchy proved me wrong.
  19. Actually, they're protected by the Umpires' Union, that does nothing to improve umpiring in MLB. The union is still pissed that MLB called in Scabs when the regular umps went on strike. This is how they're getting even.
  20. That was the battle of gold chains.
  21. Speaking of chUMPIRES, Laz Diaz, who's working balls and strikes, is rated the 6th worst umpire in MLB. With the huge number of bad chUMPS, that must be a very complicated rating system.
  22. To be fair the SOX BP has been good on this trip.
  23. Strahm apparently has turned into a pumpkin of late. You just can't trust relievers unless his name is Hader.
