I'll be watching hockey. Baseball for this year ended for me tonight. I'm not even sure I like baseball that much, because 99% of the games I watch are SOX games.
Seeing as how most of these guys are multi-millionaires,I doubt it. Most of the 'sour taste' will be in the mouth of fans who don't understand that the better team won.
What it comes down to is that the SOX "didn't score early and often." That has to be the fault of Cora. Bloom will notice this complete failure by Cora and he will fire Cora.
I'm 100% positive that Cora told his batters to score 'early and often.' I personally blame it on a 'failure to communicate.'
The SOX went as far as they could go with what they had. They went further than anyone here thought they would and I enjoyed every minute of it. Would I have liked to have seen them go further? Of course.
All I can tell you, Tyler, is to perhaps take a chill pill.
The SOX swing at bad pitches in nearly every game. The SOX make their living offensively by bashing pitchers' mistakes. The SOX batters haven't seen many mistakes in the last 3 games. So, yes, they're being beaten by good pitching.
C'mon guys. This team has more holes than Swiss cheese and they went this far. Give 'em a break. They'd already beaten a better team; doing that twice isn't easy.
Oh well; in these PO's the SOX eliminated the team I hate the most; they eliminated a team from a state I dislike intensely. Asking them to eliminate another team from another state I dislike intensely was asking too much.
But, 2 out of three ain't bad.
