  1. Pivetta always had good stuff, but he usually paid for his mistakes. He's decreased the mistakes. I didn't have much confidence that he would put it all altogether, but it appears he's proven me wrong and I'm glad.
  2. Great grab by Story. Just a hell of an athelete.
  3. Well, maybe they should keep EO, Pivetta, Whitlock and Story. The Bogey ship has already sailed.
  4. Keep Devers even if they have to get rid of everyone else.
  5. Looks like the A's have regressed from 'money ball' to 'pocket change ball.'
  6. Blackburn is overdue for a bad start. Hopefully.
  7. I'd keep JBJ in RF, because Franchy against LH starters is no improvement over JBJ offensively. Plus the defense is better with JBJ in the OF. So I'm gonna stick with platooning Franchy and Bobby at 1st.
  8. I believe Cora's best available option is to just platoon Bobby Dee and Franchy Cee at 1st base.
  9. The SOX BP is like a box of chocolates if all the chocolates had a pumpkin center.
  10. Excellent job by EO. Btw, looking at the BA's around the league, the commissioner may want to move the mound further back, maybe to 2nd base.
  11. EO holds the record for most starts before his 1st complete game at 210. Second, surprisingly enough, was Scherzer at 178.
  12. Instead of watching videos of himself, it appears JD is watching videos of Wade Boggs.
  13. To answer my own question; M.Trout will be another HOF player whose team never won a WS.
  14. Thank goodness this game isn't being played at Yankem Park.
  15. Bobby Deefense may have saved 2 runs on that nice play.
  16. While looking up Moon's questions on the internet, I found an interesting streak. Freddy Freeman went 35 consecutive AB's without swinging and missing. The streak ended in July 2021.
  17. No place is truly safe nowadays.
  18. And playing at it very well.
  19. According to the internet Tommy Thevenow, who played in the NL from 1926-1938, had a career 3337 at bats w/o a HR.
  20. Testing your baseball knowledge: This major leaguer hit a HR his 1st time at the plate. After 21 years and 493 PA's he never hit another HR. Who was he? Hint: Obviously, he was a pitcher.
  21. Bsides being a great player, what other similarity will the Mike Trout share in the future with Ted Williams and Ernie Banks? This is strictly my opinion.
