  1. Better to be lucky than good. Lately, the SOX have been neither.
  2. It's still a game. Facing McClanahan and Bieber back-to-back can make most offenses look helpless.
  3. The SOX FO would have to renegotiate his contract.
  4. Masa has been a pleasure so far this season. At this point the only SOX worthy of going to the ASG.
  5. That pretty much describes pitching and not just throwing the ball.
  6. Only playing 13 against Tampa is less embarrassing than playing 19.
  7. Not that easy to continue to hit the ball right at the infielders and outfielders. The SOX have made it into an art form.
  8. The really big problem with the SOX is they're in the wrong division to be playing .500 baseball.
  9. Well, if he doesn't make it as a player, he could apply to be a chUMPIRE.
  10. She was in a movie with William Shatner in the mid 70's called BIG BAD MAMA and left nothing to the imagination. But I first fell in love(lust) with her when she was Police Woman. Liked those handcuffs.
  11. Damn, I loved Angie. If she had said to me "I'll marry you if you'd stop being a Red Sox fan," I'd have responded with "Red Sox who?"
  12. I was the 1970's Angie Dickinson in starting game threads.
  13. I'm pretty sure he leads all 6'4" 252 lbs players in walks.
  14. Relocating a franchise isn't easy, but, as history has shown, it is possible.
  15. I added a possible solution to my original post.
  16. Just a note on the Rays: If the ultimate success of a baseball season is to win the WS, then the Rays have failed since day one. If building a competitive team year after year to at least achieve an 80% average attendance, then the Rays have failed there also. The attendance situation can be fixed by relocating to a more baseball friendly environment. The WS situation is a bit more complicated.
  17. I just mentioned how good Kike was as a defensive CF and, of course, it's falls off a cliff.
  18. "I wouldn't go that far." Of course not. You wouldn't want to ruin your reputation.
  19. 30-30 might look damn good a month from now.
  20. Starting SOX game threads has the longevity of a mayfly.
  21. If the attendance would stay like it is today on a regular basis, there would be some major changes. But of course it won't.
  22. Time flies when you're having fun.
  23. The SOX were annoying to other teams in 2018.
  24. The best thing I can say about Devers right now is he had a great April.
