  1. A very good win against a very good team.
  2. I believe Duran has realized that the CF job is his for as long as he wants it. Confidence is a game changer.
  3. Martin is not a pleasant surprise, because he was damn good with LA last season.
  4. The SOX had a nice hot offensive streak going until recently. Now they don't. That's what happens during a 162 game schedule and you know that, Max.
  5. I've always wondered if Ted Williams ever had a batting slump. I'm sure he must have.
  6. As wrong as I've been over the years, I'm in no position to tell anyone 'to stuff it.'
  7. Bello has more potential to become an outstanding starter.
  8. Notin mentioned that Dalbec was a pretty good pitcher at one time. Maybe he should reinvent himself, and become a decent hitting pitcher.
  9. I'm guessing Devers will start mashing again. So far this season he's been extremely hot and extremely cold. Please don't turn into Napoli.
  10. Tapia has been a pleasant surprise.
  11. Nice job tonight by Bello. He's probably the SOX 2nd best starter.
  12. That's a HR in every park except Yellowstone.
  13. In the case of Kluber fast balls will be called low velocities.
  14. A slower runner would have allowed Turner to complete an excellent defensive play.
  15. Easier to name it than it is to hit it.
  16. Kike hit a pitch he normally misses. Good for him.
  17. Although it's not a large sample size, Bello is the best SOX starting pitcher to come thru the SOX farm since Buchholz. That's pretty sad.
  18. Paxton is supposed to pitch in the next series in Boston vs the Cards. Does that qualify for a 'whoopie?'
  19. He's an 'innings eater.' Usually what pitchers are called when there's nothing else positive to say about them.
  20. It's inevitable that MLB teams cool off offensively during parts of the season and then it becomes the responsibility of the pitching staff to carry the load.
  21. Pivetta usually settles down after a couple of early bad innings.
