  1. I guess Bernardino has regressed to what he really is.
  2. Funny, when Sale pitched those excellent 8 innings, no one said "man, those Cards can't hit."
  3. Kirby is a very good pitcher. He may have something to do with the SOX ineffectiveness.
  4. Looks like it would be effective for carp spearing.
  5. With his limited menu of pitches Houck should and probably will be sent back to the BP. It's disappointing at this point that Houck still only has two effective pitches, but then this is the SOX and developing starters isn't their thing.
  6. Two Wongs in this game. And they're both batting 9th.
  7. Seattle's pitching in the month of May has been tops in the majors; so there's that.
  8. I'm surprised Bra Man hasn't ever gone on the IL for whiplash. The only explanation that he is still on the SOX has to be extortion.
  9. A challenge? Too bad Cora isn't managing the Cards.
  10. Bad luck? Maybe bad decision yesterday and today is more accurate. I know I'm in the minority in posting this, but I wouldn't shed any tears if Cora was replaced.
  11. I'm predicting that when the season is over, the Cards will have a better record than the SOX.
  12. Both Kluber and Pivetta need to pitch in a bigger park. Like Yellowstone.
  13. What's Cora saving his challenges for? The PO's? What an idiot.
  14. Arenado's weakness is exposed; he can't hit slow s***.
  15. Kluber's high pitch count is not good. Kluber lowering his pitch count by pitching to contact is also not a good idea. I have no answers regarding Kluber, except he should maybe think seriously about retiring.
  16. I'm not going to crtique anyone else's posts, but I will critique one of my own. Late in yesterday's game I made an extremely optimistic post regarding the SOX that quickly came back and kicked me in the face. I'll do my damndest not to repeat that mistake again.
  17. Is KOJI still young enough to close?
  18. The Cards, based on their W/L record, most likely lost games they probably should have won earlier on. Now the opposite is happening. What I do know is this Cards' team is much better than their current record.
  19. Cora is not a moron. He's also not a genius. He's an average manager who had a remarkable debut season with a very good SOX ball club.
  20. With the help of the Cards' batters. It's not a one-way street.
