    I felt bad for Lou Merloni last night. Watching the Sox get punished while having to share the booth with two morons named Rizzo and Girardi. Unfortunately for Lou, he will be back there tonight. One couldn't purposely put together a worse crew to cover a ballgame. Get out of there Lou. They suck.

    The forfeit would have been less embarrassing.

    Figuratively the Sox didn't show up last night and got spanked 9-0. If the Sox had literally not shown up last night, the game would be forfeit and the Sox would have lost 9-0.

    If Sonny can throw 6 shutout innings, the game will most likely be tied thru 6.

    It's difficult to play small ball when for the most part a Sox batter is getting on base with 2 outs.

    In the post game presser Abreu answered a question why the Sox offense was shut down. He answered that the Schlittler was pitching to our weak spots. The Sox batters' weak spot is fast balls over the plate.

    I'm blame last night's loss on jet lag.

    Leaving Tolle in the game would have made the final score ?-0. I know enough about baseball to realize that a team can't win scoring zero runs.

    9-0 or 1-0. What's the difference. In both cases it's obvious this 2026 Sox team has one of the worst offenses I've seen in the 60 plus years that I've followed this team.
