  1. Just read earlier today that Seattle would be the perfect fit for Chapman. He definitely would blend in well with Seattle's very good pitching staff. Chappy would be the tradable player the Sox would get the most for along with Gray.
  2. Last season Rodriguez led the AL in PA's with 710. Lindor led MLB with 732.
  3. I've assigned myself the job of keeping track of the Sox solo homers in comparison to their total homers. Right now they have 38 solos of their total of 62. That calculates to 61%.
  4. One more thing about Mayer. He has the worst approach at the plate of anyone on the team.
  5. Mayer makes Durbin look like Beltre offensively. That's how awful Mayer is. Mayer, KC, and Anthony. There's a losing trifecta.
  6. After being asleep for most of the games at Fenway, now the Sox can be Asleep In Seattle.
  7. I predicted the Sox would win 90. I didn't know at the time that Anthony and Mayer were going to be complete washouts. Along with Duran, Story, Crochet and Bello.
  8. Here's a correction: The Sox have hit 40 solo homers out of their team total of 61. Still close to 65%.
  9. Just checked. Counting this game the Sox have hit 39 solo jobs out of a total of 60 homers. That's a 65%.
  10. Actually, I'm pretty sure the Sox have the highest percentage of Solo HRs in MLB.
  11. Wouldn't it be funny knowing the Sox are last in HR's, but lead in solo HR's. That would be hilarious.
