To use this last game of the season as my platform, I continue to urge the morons on the HOF committee to induct Dwight Evans. And to the Sox officials put up #24 with the rest of those numbers. F'ing idiots.

Lynn was almost signed by the Yankems. The Yankems offered 60,000 dollars signing bonus, but Lynn's father wouldn't take less than a 100,000 and supposedly threw the Yankem scout out of his house.

I've always believed the fans take losing in the PO's harder than most of the players do. Especially since this era of long contracts and big money. There was a time in baseball where the players who won the WS made more money than they did playing the whole season.

I wonder how many teams that made the PO's had to have a rebuilding period the following season? There's no question this team needs to be rebuilt.

In reality the Sox never really made it to the October classic. I'm just looking at it as a 164 game season.

Could Tracy be the next Grady Little. Grady unlike Tracy left the pitcher in too long. Neither has a feel for the game. The PO's just magnifies it.

The baseball gods have a dark sense of humor. They allowed the Sox a 32-5 run and made Sox fans delirious. Then the gods gave the Sox fans September. What a cruel thing to do.

It's Groundhog Day.

The Sox were great for about a month and a half. The other 4 and a half months they were either bad or mediocre. I'm guessing the 4.5 month team is the real team.
