  1. Waldron vs Wink Does the embarrassment end today? Stay tuned. Go SOX!
  2. Well, he's better than Campbell. He may have earned himself a start.
  3. I doubt you saw that coming on the way to Fenway.
  4. Let the Padres celebrate now. The SOX will get their revenge against the Padres in October at the WS.
  5. I won't get fooled again. Nah, I probably will.
  6. All I posted was what actually happened. I realize that truth doesn't sell anymore.
  7. Horn just got dehorned.
  8. Good reply. I'm really impressed.
  9. The Padres gave Houck 8 birthday presents and his own team gave him zip.
  10. Right before the trade deadline Bogey told the FO not to trade him and the idiots complied. So instead of some quality player(s) in return, the SOX got jack s***. When a player leaves the SOX, he gets no love from me, especially the BS way Bogey did it. F**k him.
  11. That was a home run in 20 Japanese ballparks.
  12. I thought that come from behind win last Monday night would bring momentum to the SOX. But, instead, it appears to have brought Moe Howard.
  13. I understand the animosity towards Manny and deservedly so. Otoh, I don't understand all this love for Bogey, who actually screwed the SOX.
  14. With ACE Houck starting for the SOX, best chance at a win in this series.
  15. Based on the Padres' 44-41 record with an offense that averages almost 5 runs/game, their pitching must be pretty lame.
  16. No way the SOX stay in contention with this current rotation.
  17. The SOX had two things going against them tonight. 1) opening game of a series, and 2) Pivetta.
  18. Because there's 30 teams in MLB, I'll move Pivetta up to a number 4.
  19. At least Pivetta is consistent. He will always be a pitcher with a 4+ ERA. Surprisingly, his WHIP before tonight's game was at 1.114. Not anymore.
  20. The SOX are blessed with 2 #5's with Pivettaboutit and Bello.
  21. No matter what Bello does from here on out, he still going to be a rich young man, even after taxes. Better to be mediocre and rich than to be mediocre and poor. Pro sports can always make the former happen.
  22. You're welcome, Max, but timing is everything.
  23. The big highlight tonight was Wink's performance, saving BP arms.
  24. Bailey, one of the best pitching coaches around, apparently hasn't had much success with Bello. It happens; a team thinks they've got a stud and, instead, they've got a dud.
