Reff's reputation against lefties precedes him.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    SOX never quit.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
McGuire may be Houck's personal catcher. I know they usually work well together.
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Hamilton continues his run on Lansdowne.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I guess Cora's choices were Mr Anderson, Campbell, or Wink. Hindsight is golden, but I would have gone with Wink. Lesser of 3 evils.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Except for Houck, the remaining starters are, imho, gonna average 5 innings. The SOX are not in the position to have 2 or 3 rag arms in the BP.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Teams on losing streaks can be as dangerous as teams on winning streaks. Both have to end it at some point. Timing is everything.

So the SOX lost a Keller, but gained a Campbell. No question, SOX are gonna have to trade for BP help if they want to remain in contention. 6 reliable guys in the BP isn't enough.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Has Keller been DFA'd yet?
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
In fact, their best pitching prospect is now undergoing TJ surgery.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
When one thinks of the SOX farm, pitching isn't the primary thought.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I certainly hope Campbell didn't unpack.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Campbell was brought up due to Wong being on paternity leave.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    That makes sense. Thanks.

Another good start be ACE Houck. Btw, is that an earned run because of CI?
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Speaking of injuries, the Jays' Bichette is due to return tomorrow.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Good move.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    I'd walk Turner.

At least for now, Duran saves a run.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I saw on youtube very recently that Cora informed Duran he was going to give him a rest day. Duran's response was "F**k that."
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Duran is thee man!
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Looked like Devers was looking for the 'red seat.'
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
In the NHL it's almost considered a curse.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    DEVERS DEliVERS!

I'm not a fan of NBA, but kudos to the Celtics for having the best regular season record and winning the championship. Amazing how many times that doesn't happen in professional team sports.
