  1. Based on no experience in the health care field, I would venture to say that Devers' shoulder is fine.
  2. Silseth creates a lot of sibilance.
  3. DEVERS DEliVERS! Solo HR's are us.
  4. Tyler has 4 RBI so far to go along with his 4 HR's.
  5. I guess I'm the straight guy (Abbott) and you're the comedy relief (Costello). I do like how you took that ball and ran with it. "Who's on SS?"
  6. I did hear that he is a fun guy in the clubhouse.
  7. I was just informed by my Extra Innings package that because the SOX game follows the Braves' game, the SOX game would be joined in progress. Screw you, ya bunch of money grabbing A-holes. Btw, Sale is pitching for the Braves today.
  8. I don't know what JH is thinking. I'm thinking that the SOX could now be considered a middle market team with big market ticket prices.
  9. The initial MRI performed on Story showed no bone or ligament damage, however a more thorough examination will be performed in Boston. Best case scenario 3 to 4 weeks if the initial MRI is correct. 2nd best scenario is 3 to 4 months if damage is more than initially found. Worst case is season ending surgery. That Story wasn't wearing a shoulder harness yesterday may, at least, be a positive thing.
  10. Houck vs Silseth(RH) Duran(CF) Devers O'neil Casas Masa Valdez Abreu(RF) McGuire Hamilton(SS) Go SOX!
  11. Excuse me. There's 29 MLB teams. I forgot about the A's.
  12. Because there's 30 MLB teams and that's why he's still at the major league level.
  13. SOX team ERA gets even lower as does the SOX team BA.
  14. Definitely. He knows that striking the batters out keeps the infield from being involved.
  15. No doubt. Very difficult(impossible) to replace a SS with the defensive abilities of Story.
  16. It's only the 9th game, but we've gotten to know this BP quite well. I've been pretty impressed with the group.
  17. Losing Story was like pulling the plug in the bathtub.
  18. The thing about Papi was when he had to play 1st, he did a respectable job.
  19. Devers was born to be a DH. The sooner that happens the better.
  20. The best thing to do this season, as one poster pointed out a few games ago, is to pick one SOX player you really like and see how he does this season.
  21. Devers would make the perfect DH. I see that happening as soon as a certain high school draft choice graduates to MLB. Maybe next season; maybe 2026.
  22. With the SOX current infield SOX pitchers need to get the batters to hit fly balls.
