    I posted earlier that Story's absence would weaken the pitching. I didn't think it would happen this fast.

    Before Devers' 1st at bat the Angels' announcer said that the Angels' pitcher better throw strikes, because Devers won't help him by swinging at pitches outside the zone. That may have been the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time.

    That comes under the heading of self-inflicted.

    Reyes replacing Story would be similar to Carrot Top replacing George Carlin.
