Good points, but I'd like to see both Mayer and Campbell as everyday infielders this season, sooner rather than later.
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
That was not a bullish at bat by Toro.
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
What are your thoughts on Campbell moving to 1st base?
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I want Campbell to be the Sox 1st baseman. Can he learn to play 1st and still play in Boston or would it be better to learn at Woo? I'm fine with either one.

If a player saves a run on defense, it's equal to driving in a run on offense.

What I do think is anyone who thinks Duran is gonna duplicate last season may want to think again.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If you're gonna demote bad hitters, you'd have to demote most of the KC lineup.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
A player has speed but is bad at bunting. What a waste.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
DP's are the Sox best friend.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I believe this ump has been consistent for both pitchers.

Very impressive job by Dobbins tonight.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
We Sox fans are used to that.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The Sox have had more than their share of excellent defensive CF's.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Devers is 1st in walks and 2nd in SO's in the AL.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Sox this season are gathering all kinds of DP's.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    I agree with this message.
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Here's my plan. Send Campbell down to Woo to play 1st base and bring up Mayer to play 2nd. You're welcome. ..

    Great D by Bregman.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Except when he opens his mouth.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
As a DH Devers has yet to make an error.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Yoshida can't hit? I didn't know that.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If Manny had ever been asked to play 1st, he would have responded " Sorry, I can't. My grandma just died."
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Similar to Nomar in 2004.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The Sox have won two in a row. They are also due for a loss.

Let the baby stay at DH. The FO will figure out how to deal with 1st base.
