  1. What was that all about? Not allowing Pivetta the chance for a win? Is this some form of punishment? Is it about going against the line-up for the 3rd time? These and other questions hopefully will be answered.
  2. I've never considered EO more than just an above average starting pitcher. IOW, if he's the #1 starter on a team, that team's starting pitching is hurting.
  3. These Rangers' announcers suck more than a Dyson.
  4. That EO is better than any SOX starter speaks volumes how bad the SOX starting staff is.
  5. Pivettaboutit 2- The Sequel.
  6. I'm sorry. That was a bad joke.
  7. Any updates on pitchers?
  8. I'm pretty certain that Criswell will be back in the starting rotation real soon.
  9. What we've been seeing since the break makes not trading Kenley and O'Neill a bad decision. Especially, when the best starter the SOX could grab was Paxton.
  10. I remember when the relievers got to the mound in a golf cart.
  11. In hockey the only info a fan gets is upper body or lower body injury.
  12. I can't criticize the offense. The pitching has and probably will continue to be the problem.
  13. Great D by Devers. So far this season he's the YAZ of '67.
  14. I didn't know O'Neill was sick. Probably picked up some germs from the barbells.
  15. Many of us were concerned about SOX starters before the season began. It appears the concern was valid.
  16. Maybe Houck, like Kutter, needs to miss a start.
  17. Well, we can only hope Paxton turns into Koufax.
  18. Houck's ERA over his last 5 starts is nearly 6.
  19. Hell, they've been averaging almost 7 runs since the break and their record is 5-8.
  20. I'm pretty sure the SOX batters know that they have to score at least 6 runs before the game even starts.
  21. Houck, like Kutter, has pitched more innings then he's ever pitched previously, and it's obviously been apparent.
  22. When it comes to SOX pitching, be afraid, be very afraid. Not sure if the SOX averaging over 6 runs per game since July 1st is sustainable thru the end of the season.
  23. Actually, imho, he has excelled at hitting pitcher's mistakes.
