Developing their own pitching at the farm was never a strong point for the SOX no matter who the GM was. In the past when the SOX were a big market franchise, the FO would acquire big name pitchers thru FA or trades. So, I agree with MOON's critique of Bloom. He did a pretty good job considering the restrictions of spending big money.

On a positive note a shout out to Masa. It's about time we all realize just what an excellent striker of the ball he is. Btw, he hustles on every play, and that can't be said about a lot of MLB players.
