    Adding insult to injury this was the Royals biggest margin of victory this season and also the most runs they've scored.

    So, at this point going into 2024 Bello will be the SOX #1 starter. Some here have him projected as a #3, but that would only hold water if the SOX actually have a #1 and a #2. Bloom's gotta lot of work to do and he's gonna need some serious money.

    Of the 2 extra players each team is allowed to bring up on Sept. 1st one has to be a pitcher and the other a non-pitcher. Most of you probably knew this, but I just found that out earlier today.

    Since Martin was optioned to WOO the first time until yesterday, he had a 1.50ERA. Which tells me that what happens at WOO, stays at WOO.

    Not really unreal. The SOX have been embarrassed by rag arms more than a few times this season. As for trading Paxton, at the time of the TDL the SOX only had 3 healthy starters and at that time Paxton was their best one. BTW, this is Lyles' second good start against the SOX this season.

    Well, at least, Abreu and Rafaela will be paid the MLB daily league minimum.

    On the positive side the SOX BP did well today. 6.1 innings and only 1 run given up.

    Kutter did escape today with no errors made behind him.

    The SOX had won 5 championships from 1903-1918. They've won 4 championships from 2004-2018. Based on this pattern, I'm predicting the SOX next championship will be in 2104. Perhaps 2103. If I'm wrong, I'll be eating worms.
