  1. Pivetta, the 'iron man' of the SOX, pitched a great game tonight. The man is a competitor.
  2. The SOX can still prevent the O's from having home field advantage if the O's play the Dodgers in the WS.
  3. With Turner probably not returning next season the SOX will have only two RH batters who present any threat at the plate at that point. I'm pretty sure the SOX will try to re-sign Duvall. The new GM will have to employ a lot of plaster to fill the many holes of this SOX team. Good luck with that.
  4. The only reason to watch tonight's game is to see how many more consecutive innings the SOX can go w/o scoring a run.
  5. Excuse me, but what the hell does playing the young guys have to do with Devers' lack of leadership qualities? Take a couple of deep breaths, MAX.
  6. Having the SOX start next season on a 10 game West coast trip is similar to beating a dead horse.
  7. Cora will be back as manager next season according to Sam Kennedy. It could have been worse, Cora could have been given an extension.
  8. But one cannot ignore Raffi's leadership qualities. Of course, I'm kidding.
  9. You know a team is bad when their best player is a set up relief pitcher.
  10. A truly disgusting baseball team. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
  11. Wake is a class act and I wish him the best.
  12. Good news for Cora fans; the 'genius' will be back next season as confirmed by Sam Kennedy. He'll have a good shot at 3 straight last place finishes.
  13. Only kidding. I know who Jansen is. He's the actor who played Dr Richard Kimball in the popular TV series THE FUGITIVE.
  14. Turner, Devers, and the SOX as a team ending the season not with a bang, but with a whimper. The SOX peaked this season at mediocre and now there just darn right bad.
  15. Glasnow vs Bello Raf Abreu Turner(1B) Dugo Story Masa(DH) Dalbec(3B) Valdez Wong At least Devers will have a very good excuse for not driving in any runs tonight.
  16. It seems Cora manages many games with that in mind.
  17. McGuire is batting .271; Wong is at .240.
  18. It appears I'm the only one questioning why the SOX best reliever wasn't used tonight. Of course, I'm obviously not a member of the Cora cult.
  19. When the Rays play the SOX, Cash will always out manage Cora.
  20. Maybe McGuire will be the backup; at least he can hit.
  21. In a very winnable game when the score was 7-6 after a very good comeback by the SOX, Cora doesn't use his best reliever. This is just another reason why I'd love to see the fool fired.
  22. He's been a disappointment with very misleading stats.
  23. The fact is he's not a very good hitter.
