Martin, who actually is a pitcher, needs to stay healthy the rest of the season for the SOX to have any chance. Because baseball is strange, Kenley gets the win.

What's been proven in the games I've watched is that there's too many teams and not enough quality pitching. Especially, when so many of the quality pitchers end up on the IL. This includes both starters and relievers. BTW, never confuse pitchers with throwers.

It's quite possible that Grissom will never play another game for the SOX. If you don't remember who Grissom is, you're forgiven. I believe Kristian Campbell will be the SOX 2nd baseman next season.

Against RH's the SOX OPS of .852 leads MLB. The Dodgers are 2nd at .844.

Great to see the SOX best hitter since the ASB is out of the line-up tonight. I'd rather have Masa playing LF than O'Neill. I'll take the decline in defense for Masa, at least, making contact with the ball.

The odds of the SOX winning tonight aren't great, but the odds are better playing on the road than at Fenway.
